Message from Dr. Valentin & Blackstock

We all live in a fiercely competitive world. A digital world. A world where someone asks, “How are you?” and you respond, “Busy. Crazy busy.”And in this world, it’s gotten harder and harder to achieve – as students, as parents, and as members of the community at large.

Students (of all ages) are expected to achieve academically with good grades, a well-rounded list of extra-curriculars, and good social skills – despite any learning disabilities or social-emotional and behavioural weaknesses they may have.

Parents are expected to juggle multiple and complicated roles where they have to ensure their children’s current and future success, excel at their own careers, navigate a confusing digital environment, and maintain family order.

This is where we come in. We’re a team of child psychologists, neuropsychologists and mental health professionals who have dedicated our careers to helping parents and kids achieve in school, at home and in life. With our psychoeducational assessments, psychological assessments, gifted testing, child therapy, family counselling and parenting programs, our goal is to help you as a parent become better prepared to help your child succeed and to help your child become better equipped to fulfill their potential.
