DR. EDWARD BLACKSTOCK, Ph.D., C. Psych

Dr. Edward Blackstock, Ph.D., is a Psychologist licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario since 1977 in the areas of school and clinical psychology. He obtained his training in New York. He came to Canada to work first as a professor at York University, where he was teaching psychology for ten years. He then worked as the Chief Psychologist for the Peel District School Board for fifteen years. He is a member of the Canadian Register of Health Providers in Psychology, the Ontario Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association and the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment. Dr. Blackstock is a co-director of our clinic. He is passionate about providing education in a tailored way to children and young adults with special needs. He has a great deal expertise in treatment suicidal adolescents and veterans. Dr. Blackstock is a co-director of our clinic and restricts his current role to supervision of assessments and treatment.
